Deanna Day is a writer, editor, and historian living in Philadelphia. Her projects focus on the cultural influence of technology, science, and medicine, with a special emphasis on gender and reproduction.  She is the managing editor of Somatosphere, and is currently working on a book about the history of the thermometer, medical self-tracking, and fertility.
