Amber Wu

Amber Wu is a senior software developer and engineer with experience as a freelancer, early-stage startup member, and regular employee. Outside of work, she volunteers in the queer and Open Source communities, as well as individually mentoring and mock-interviewing local computer science students. Her interest in identity politics was initially inspired by cyberpunk literature and experiences assuming alternate personæ in online spaces, then later encouraged by her significant other’s academic studies in gender and sexuality. In her spare time, she is also an avid player of Dungeons & Dragons and enthusiast of traditional role-playing games.
