Blameful Post Mortem

Everything that's wrong with the tech industry this week, and who's to blame.

GitHub has released the results of their investigation into systemic abuse of women by their company, leadership and employees. As expected, they have absolved themselves of wrongdoing. These posts by Mandy Brown, Brianna Wu and Ellen Chisa analyze their response and the message it sends.

In honor of how completely fucked GitHub’s response has been - from employees publicly defending their abusive leaders and whining on Twitter about their hurt feelings, to anonymous hit posts on Secret and Medium, to the cowardice of their investors and management - we are dedicating the entire Blameful Post Mortem to them.
